Responding to Inbound Inquiries from Potential Clients
When a potential guest sends us a message or calls us, our goal is to get them to rent from us.
To successfully do this, we need to answer the questions that they have, and make them feel good about that choice.
Here's the information you will need to gather from them:
- What city are they looking to stay?
- What dates are they looking to stay? We'll need a start date and a checkout date.
- How many guests will be staying?
- What questions do they have for us?
For this example, we'll say that the person asked for November 6-9 (3 nights).
Once we have that information, you'll need to do the following:
(In this example, we're checking for Las Vegas) November 6,7,8,9 are available, so somebody could check in at 4pm November 6th, and check out 11am November 9th)
- Look at availability on Beds24.com in that city, and verify we have something for their dates.
- If not, let them know we, unfortunately, don't have availability for their dates. If we have most, but not all of their dates available, let them know the dates we do have.
- If we do have availability, click on the property link located here:
- After you click on that link, you'll put in the start date (A), the number of nights (B), the number of guests (C), and then click the book button (D).
- After that, you'll get the following screen. You may read off the prices if over the phone (A), or send the link (B) if via email, chat, text, or similar.
